As you all may know this Tuesday is the primary election in Nebraska. I would be honored to earn your vote. It was brought to my attention today (actually by KETV) that our post regarding Lee Terry’s proposal for the current mortgage crisis was not properly cited. This mistake was my fault. I messed up “cutting and pasting” the document my staff had produced and the citations were inadvertently left out. As you can see, we have taken the post down. Please accept my sincere apology for any confusion. We will repost the correct version soon.

However, while I made this error, the bigger mistake is that we do not have representatives in Congress who lead. They simply respond to situations. In particular, they lack the vision and the will to address tough problems head on. I will provide that sort of leadership on this issue and many others.
